About this Event
Come experience the buzz of a bee hive in our bee bed sheds. Take in the scents, vibrations, frequency and warmth of a honeybee colony. Learn how the colony works together to create honey, and then taste raw local honey. We will also have the Bread Shed stocked with baked goods, including sourdough, to purchase. We are happy to answer questions about mastering sourdough at home.
This event will be held outdoors, but the bee beds are enclosed from the weather so the event will be held rain or shine

About Grit and Grace Homestead
Grit and Grace Homestead is a small rural homestead using regenerative agriculture practices when possible to steward the land and livestock to our best ability. We offer bee beds to experience the calming qualities of bees and the enriching smells of their hives, a Bread Shed with baked goodies including sourdough, fresh eggs, produce when our garden produces in abundance, and fresh cut flowers when available. We will have a sunflower field for pictures this fall by appointment and those could include Hank the Highland too. Come visit to relax, rejuvenate, and reset.
