Meet Your Farmer Project
This Northeast Indiana Farm to School Team project introduces students and their families to regional farmers who grow our Harvest of the Month fruits and vegetables.
Each month thousands of students across Northern Indiana are tasting new fruits and vegetables produced on our region’s farms through our Harvest of the Month taste test program in collaboration with the Parkview Health Youth Well-being Team. This latest Farm to School project allows young students and their families to learn more about the farmers in our region who grow the local products the kids are learning about in school. These Meet Your Farmer flyers will be shared in classrooms and school cafeterias across our region.
