We got our start by purchasing the "ugly" produce at the end of the farmers market and continue to do this today to help our fellow farmers out. We now have farms that grow specifically for Josh's Jungle. Our mission is to preserve Indiana’s bounty of produce in the summer for year round enjoyment.

We are very strict on where our produce comes from and if I can't source it from an ethical farm here in NE Indiana we do search out farms within southern Michigan, northern Ohio, and NW Indiana. They have to be small family farms with the same practices and beliefs we have.

Products made from Locally-sourced Ingredients

Our current products include: salsa, spicy salsa, peach salsa, cherry salsa, tomato juice, garden juice, bruschetta, dill pickles, jalapeno dill pickles, bread and butter pickles, red flannel pickles, chow chow, beet relish, zucchini relish, giardiniera, dilly beans, pickled peppers, pickled tomatoes, pickled beets, strawberry jam, grape jelly, jalapeno jelly, habanero peach jelly, jalapeno watermelon jelly, spicy mustard, pear butter, watermelon rind pickles.

Many of our ingredients come from our own farm and these Northeast Indiana farms:

Our wide variety of products include specialty jams and jellies such as a citrus wheat beer jelly, berry ale jam, peach bourbon jam. For these we are searching for favorite local brews. We are also expanding tomato products to include tomato sauces for cooking and soups as well as a tomato jam for a ketchup substitute. New pickled vegetables and fruits will be added to the list as well such as Brussels sprouts, apples, strawberries, carrots, ramps, mushrooms, and various berries. We are also going to work on making some ferments shelf stable such as soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, and miso pickles.
