Opened in 1926, Southside is the oldest, continually-operating farmers market in Allen County. Local produce in season, beginning with asparagus, rhubarb, peas, green onions, lettuce in the Spring. Followed by Summer crops: squash, peppers, green beans, potatoes, onions, sweet corn, tomatoes, muskmelons, watermelon, cabbage, broccoli, cauliflower, red beets, and greens. Fall brings: apples, cider, pears, Concord grapes, sweet potatoes, turnips. Always available are free range chickens, meats, fresh eggs, baked goods, honey, and a large variety of teas.

A variety of local producers sell locally grown fresh produce, meat and eggs and local craft vendors sell handmade crafts and antiques.

Open early April through mid-December

Saturdays: 8:00 am to 1:00 pm
