Join us for a guided tour at Windrose Urban Farm for all ages!

Tour will include a behind the scenes tour of our mushroom farm and information about our value added food division Young Urban Homesteaders and the fermented products we sell.

The tour will take about an hour. Our operation is rather small, ADA accessible, and we won't be walking much for the length of the tour that will take about an hour or a little longer.

Feel free to bring a folding chair to sit on if you like. Tours will happen rain or shine, as we are mostly an indoor operation. Weather permitting we will take a short visit to the garden.

Windrose Urban Farm

Windrose is a nonprofit urban farm in the heart of downtown Fort Wayne. Our mission is to provide employment to individuals with employment barriers and disabilities. We cultivate gourmet mushrooms in a climate controlled environment indoors where there is no use of any pesticides or herbicides. In 2019, we expanded our farm to a half acre lot behind the mushroom farm to plant crops of nutrient dense foods for the community and to help continue our mission of employment and education.
