The agriculture program at Ivy Tech Community College engages students in hands-on activities in and outside of their classrooms while preparing them for real-world agriculture careers. The program focus is primarily in the areas of: Livestock Production, Agronomy, Urban Farming, and AgriBusiness.

Urban Horticulture Certificate: The certificate in Urban Horticulture focuses on growing food using alternative growing methods in non-traditional environments. The certificate also prepares individuals to own and/or operate his or her own greenhouse. Courses are held in a state of the art, technically advanced, on campus greenhouse that utilizes multiple growing systems (soil and water) and aquaculture. All (6) courses required for the Urban Horticulture Certificate can be applied toward the AAS Degree in Agriculture.
