Joseph Decuis Wagyu Farm is a working farm and showcase for vegetables and animals raised sustainably and responsibly through organic and humane practices. We believe in a localized food economy, raising foods that are authentic, traceable and ethically sourced. Our vegetables are fresh, natural and nutrient dense. Our beef and pork is raised humanely and with the responsibility to the integrity of the animal through our nose to tail philosophy.
Our beef is Wagyu, a breed originating in Japan, and is known as the finest beef in the world because of its intense marbling and flavorful tenderness.
Our pork is Mangalitsa, an alpine breed of pig from Hungary and Austria. A lard pig, it's extremely flavorful with a high proportion of fat.
Our hens are a mixture of heritage breeds selected for their colorful eggs.
We raise over 150 varieties of vegetables, herbs & flowers, primarily for use in our restaurants with plenty more to go around. Our hoop house allows for production of vegetables year round.

Additional Information
We utilize our farm products in both of our restaurants in Roanoke, Joseph Decuis for fine dining and Joseph Decuis Emporium for casual food. In the Emporium we also have for sale our beef and pork frozen, the eggs and vegetables refrigerated. Also for sale are prepared products such as meats for charcuterie, desserts fresh and frozen, and quiche from our eggs and vegetables.
Our products are grown with organic practices, but are not certified, and are GMO-free.
Joseph Decuis Wagyu Farm is the perfect venue for memorable special events, including weddings, receptions, corporate events, charitable fundraisers, and family gatherings.
