Welcome to Hochstetler's Haven! We're a family farm passionate about teaching and connecting with our community. Everything we do is rooted in a lifetime of 4-H experience, focusing on excellent care for our animals and farming in a way that's good for the land.
The River Farm is located in Bluffton, Indiana and offers chemical free vegetables/flowers, culinary mushrooms and grass-fed meats. We aspire to farm in partnership with ecosystems and with living soils. Our farm values are rooted in Permaculture, community and perennial resilience. We are currently working towards transition to USDA certified organic.
We run our farm the old-fashioned way, focusing on traditional food production. That means no chemicals, herbicides, pesticides, growth hormones, antibiotics, or sprays here! We care deeply about the quality of the food we eat, and we bring that same dedication from our farm to your table.
We are a homesteading family focusing on growing fruit (19 varieties), eggs, hatching chicks, and a wide range of rabbits. We also have a greenhouse as well. Our family of 6 works and learns together each day. Our market strives to have amazing products and top notice customer service by all of us.
RiverRidge Farm is a four-seasons garden and greenhouse run by Nathan and Diane Fingerle and their family that produces year-round. RiverRidge has greens available year round and is among the first to have tomatoes and cucumbers from their heated green houses in the spring. Our farm uses a spring-fed pond for irrigation, we ensure there’s no runoff. We are committed to sustainable practices, never using chemical pesticides or fertilizers. Our poultry feed is certified 99.9% GMO-free. Additionally, we occasionally offer meat chicken and duck.
A small acreage no till farm striving to make an impact in our community. We use organic practices but aren’t certified. We work with other small farms to bring the community a well rounded source of produce, meat, eggs, milk, baked goods and even dog treats!
We're a community-focused specialty grocery store, offering bulk goods, discount groceries, and a full-service deli. We also carry several local farmers and artisanal products from Northeast Indiana. Our mission is to provide affordable, quality food in a clean, friendly, and welcoming environment, ensuring everyone has access to good, affordable groceries.

We are a small beyond organic farm. We are not certified organic or naturally grown. Our growing practices are to grow everything naturally. Using regenerative farming methods, beneficial insects and natural solutions. No chemicals. Non-GMO. No synthetic fertilizers. We grow Microgreens, up to 25 different varieties (so far), we have pastured (non-GMO) eggs, seasonal vegetables, garden starts (herbs and vegetables).

Read MoreWe began our journey into farming in 2014, starting with rare breed chickens, turkeys, ducks, and exotic pheasants (peacocks). After extensive research, we decided to make our way into raising KuneKune pigs in 2018. We began with three, eight-week-old gilts. We loved them so much that we then decided to get a breeder pair. We’re now Exclusive Members of AKKPS (American KuneKune Pig Society). We are also very active with the EKPA (Empire KuneKune Pig Association).
